Biography

Jacqueline M. Harper is a lawyer in private practice in Toronto, in the areas of litigation and administrative law. She has been an adjudicator at the Law Society Tribunal since 2018 and at the Automobile Accident Benefits Service since 2017. In addition, from 2010 to 2017, Jacqueline adjudicated cases related to the compensation of victims of violent crimes, at the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. Jacqueline completed a Bachelor of Law in French at the Faculty of Law at the Université de Moncton and Bachelor of Science at St. Francis Xavier University. For many years, Jacqueline specialized in the area of commercial real estate, which included acquisitions, dispositions, securitizations, development, financing and leasing. She is an elected member of the Toronto Council of the Ontario Bar Association and past Secretary of the OBA Audit Committee. She is a member of the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators and is a Director of the Board of Best Buddies of Canada. She is fluent in English and French.
