Biography

Neha Chugh founded Chugh Law Professional Corporation in 2014 and she oversees day to day business operations, while growing her practice and knowledge in criminal, family and child protection courts. Neha is also the prosecutor at the Akwesasne Mohawk Court, as well as the Hearings Officer for the Town of Cobourg. Neha has conducted appeals at most levels of court in Ontario and appeared as counsel for the Intervenor Barbra Schlifer Clinic at the Supreme Court of Canada. Neha accepted the Catzman Award for Professionalism and Civility at the 2022 Opening of the Courts for Ontario. Neha serves on the Board of Governors of the Law Commission of Ontario and is also active in her local community, serving on the boards of  the Centre York Centre, Tri-County Literacy, and the Agape Centre. Neha began her four-year term as Bencher in May 2023.
