Biography

Paul Le Vay is a partner in Stockwoods LLP, with a practice focused on corporate-commercial and securities litigation, professional liability, employment law and professional discipline and regulation. Paul has acted in complex commercial trials and arbitrations, shareholder disputes, class action litigation and securities enforcement proceedings. Paul acts for lawyers and other professionals in errors and omissions claims. Paul is bilingual and conducts trials and appeals in both French and English. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is a former Trustee of the Law Foundation of Ontario. He served as President of the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario (AJEFO) and is a past director of the Advocates` Society.  In 2015, he received the Lincoln Alexander Award from the Law Society. In 2018, the AJEFO awarded him its Ordre du Mérite.
