Biography

Sabita Maraj was appointed as a lay member of the Law Society Tribunal in June 2014. She has been an adjudicator with the Consent and Capacity Board since September 2010 and has adjudicated over 600 mental health hearings. Ms. Maraj also works as a licensed Immigration Consultant with a private law firm in Mississauga. She is the proud recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee award for her work in the community.
