Biography

Stephen Rotstein is currently a Vice-Chair at Tribunals Ontario where he adjudicates Landlord and Tenant Board matters.  Previously, Stephen was the Director, Global and Domestic Affairs at the Ontario Securities Commission and held the role of Vice-President, Policy & Regulatory Affairs & General Counsel at FP Canada.

Stephen has extensive voluntary leadership experience including being an elected Bencher (Board Member) of the Law Society of Ontario, a Member of the Federal Judicial Advisory Committee for the Greater Toronto Area and previously serving as President of the Canadian Bar Association.

Stephen holds a BA in political science and history from Western University and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. He is a member of the Bar in Ontario and New York State and holds the Certified In-House Counsel – Canada certification (CIC.C).
