Biography

Margot Blight is an independent practitioner who practices in English and in French, in a variety of administrative law disciplines, including labour law, education law, human rights law and constitutional law. Ms. Blight was certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Labour Law in 2001 and has been selected by her peers for inclusion several successive editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the areas of Education Law, and Labour and Employment Law. She is a member of the Justices of the Peace Review Council, and serves on the Canadian Olympic Committee’s Governance and Ethics Committee. Ms. Blight received a Bachelor of Arts from Lakehead University in 1984 and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Toronto in 1987. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1989.
